We are a locally owned, family operated full service construction company. As active members in their church and community, the Richardson family is proud to be part of the East Tennessee Community. Chester Richardson and his wife, Becky, have been married for over 18 years. They have 3 beautiful children and a wonderful grown foster daughter and her young family.

Chester and Becky are both long term Blount County residents and graduates from Heritage High School in Maryville, Tennessee. Chester then received a BA in History from Maryville College. He taught for several years before making a career change. Following in the footsteps of his father, Wade Richardson, a long time builder and master craftsman. Chester, with Becky’s encouragement, decided the building industry was his professional calling.

As the General Contractor, Chester oversees every project from the initial consultation to making sure the punch list is complete. Chester and his staff are personally involved in the day to day operations making sure each project meets customers’ expectations. Based on its reputation for quality, attention to detail, and strong customer service Richardson Construction has seen great growth since being created in 2004, even growing during the recession. Now Richardson Construction is one of Blount County's largest and most admired home builders.
